1. Introduction

Welcome to Quant-Elite. I am Santosh Choubey, the solo developer of this application. I am committed to providing a high-quality educational experience while respecting your privacy. This policy outlines how I handle data, payments, and the virtual economy within the app to ensure compliance with the Google Play Store developer policies.

By using Quant-Elite, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information I Collect

2.1 Personal Information

Authentication Data: I use Firebase Authentication. If you sign in via Google or Email, I collect your name and email address to create and secure your account.
Learning Progress: I store your quiz scores, tutorial completion status, and certificates in Firebase Cloud Firestore to sync your progress across devices.

2.2 Device and Sensor Permissions

To provide specific features, the App requests access to:

Microphone: Used only for the "Live Mentor" voice interaction feature. Audio is processed to text; I do not record or store raw audio files on my servers.
Camera & Gallery: Used only when you choose to upload a math problem for AI analysis. I use the system-standard photo picker.
Storage: To cache learning materials and certificates locally for offline access.

2.3 Automatically Collected Data

Device Information: Model, OS version, and unique device identifiers for analytics and crash reporting (via Firebase Crashlytics).
Usage Metrics: Time spent on modules, quiz accuracy, and AI interaction frequency to improve the mentor's responsiveness.

3. Virtual Currency (Coins) Logic

Quant-Elite features a "Coin Economy" to incentivize learning and manage premium resources.

3.1 Earning Coins

Onboarding: New users receive a one-time welcome bonus (e.g., 100 coins).
Learning: Coins are awarded for completing tutorials and passing quizzes correctly.
Purchases: Users may purchase coin packs via Google Play Billing.

3.2 Spending Coins

Coins are used to unlock specific advanced modules, start mock tests, or request extra AI prompts beyond the daily free limit.

3.3 Legal Status

Coins are "Virtual Goods." They have no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be transferred to other users. All coin balances are associated with your account and stored securely in Cloud Firestore.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

I use Google Play Billing for all financial transactions.

Payment Processing: I do not collect or store your credit card or bank details. All transactions are handled securely by Google.
Subscriptions & Purchases: Premium features (Ad-free periods, large coin packs) are tied to your Google Play account.
Refunds: Refunds for in-app purchases are subject to Google Play’s refund policy. Users can request refunds through the Google Play Console or by contacting me.

5. Third-Party Services

I integrate the following services to enhance the App:

Google Firebase: For user authentication, cloud database, and crash reporting.
Google Gemini AI: Powers the "Ganitacharya AI" mentor. Text and image queries are sent to Google's servers for processing.
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Used to display advertisements in the free version.
Google Play Services: Required for core app functionality and billing.

6. Advertising and Personalization

I use AdMob to serve ads. AdMob may use device identifiers to show personalized ads. You can manage your ad preferences or opt-out of personalized advertising in your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

7. Data Security and Deletion

7.1 Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest using Firebase's security protocols.

7.2 Data Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data (progress, coins, scores). To request deletion:

Go to Settings within the App and select Delete Account.
Alternatively, email me at theuniquedawg29@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" from your registered email address.

8. Children's Privacy

Quant-Elite is designed for students. I do not intentionally collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. If I discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, I will delete it immediately from my servers.

9. Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be notified via an in-app announcement.
